AJ Coker
Master Electrician & Owner
AJ Coker is the owner and operator of Coker Prime Services & Electrical, LLC, a licensed electrical contracting company serving High Springs, Gainesville, and the surrounding North Central Florida areas.
With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the electrical trade, AJ has built his reputation on quality workmanship, attention to detail, and doing things the right way. His experience ranges from residential service calls and troubleshooting to full rewires, service upgrades, and custom projects. No matter the size of the job, he approaches every project with professionalism, accountability, and pride in his work.
Coker Prime Services & Electrical was founded in August 2018 with a vision to provide dependable electrical service while building a company rooted in strong values — honesty, fairness, and respect. As the business continues to grow, AJ remains focused on developing a solid team, delivering consistent results, and creating a positive experience for every customer. He remains actively involved in both field operations and team development, ensuring that every project reflects the level of quality and accountability the Coker Prime name stands for.
Outside of his work in the field, AJ is passionate about mentorship and leadership. He has been actively coaching youth and community basketball since 2010 and is the founder of S.P.A.R.K.S. – The Path to Power, a mentorship program focused on teaching young people discipline, character, and real-world skills through the electrical trade.
What drives AJ goes beyond business — it starts with family. As the oldest of two brothers, he carries a strong sense of responsibility to lead by example. While his family has always been there for one another, it is the steady support of his parents and the influence of his younger brothers that continue to push and inspire him to grow. At home, he is part of a family of five, which fuels his daily motivation and purpose. That foundation has shaped his work ethic, strengthened his values, and drives his commitment to building something meaningful not only for his own family, but for the community he serves.

Justin
I am a Project Manager with Coker Prime and have been a dedicated member of this family-owned business for the past seven years. Over that time, I’ve built a strong reputation for prioritizing customer service and maintaining clear, concise communication to ensure each project runs smoothly from start to finish.
Outside of my professional role, I’m actively involved in youth development as an AAU basketball coach, trainer, and strength coach. I’m passionate about mentoring young athletes and helping them grow both on and off the court through discipline, skill development, and confidence building.
Cecil Howard
Cecil brings nearly five decades of experience in the electrical industry, with a career built on dedication, skill, and leadership. He began his journey in vocational technical school in 1977, laying the foundation for a lifelong career in the trade.
Cecil proudly served in the United States Air Force as an electrician from 1981 to 1992, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a disciplined, high-performance environment. Following his military service, he continued his career with the Federal Bureau of Prisons from 1993 to 2010 as an electrician, where he played a key role in maintaining and improving critical systems. He was later promoted to Maintenance Supervisor, a position he held until his retirement in 2016.
Throughout his career, Cecil has built a reputation for reliability, problem-solving, and a strong work ethic. His depth of knowledge and real-world experience make him a valuable part of the Coker Prime team.
Outside of work, Cecil enjoys fishing and hunting. He especially values spending time with his family, supporting and watching his grandchildren participate in their sporting activities.
Kenneth Alvarez
Journeyman Electrician
Kenneth Alvarez is an experienced electrical installer with Coker Prime Services & Electrical, bringing over 13 years of hands-on expertise in the trade. A journeyman electrician, Kenneth began his career immediately after high school, working under a master electrician who mentored him for a decade and instilled a strong foundation in both technical skill and professional discipline.
Since joining Coker Prime Services, he has quickly become a valued member of the team, contributing to the company’s reputation for quality and reliability.
Kenneth approaches his work with a clear mindset: do the job right the first time. He is known for his reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to honest, transparent communication. He takes pride in treating every customer with respect and kindness, ensuring each project is completed to the highest standard.
Outside of work, Kenneth is a dedicated family man and a person of strong faith. He has been married for nearly two years and values the lessons of kindness and integrity instilled by his parents. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports like basketball and football, fishing, and making music—singing and playing instruments such as the tenor saxophone and guitar. His faith remains a central guiding force in his life, shaping both his personal values and professional approach.
Hunter
Hunter is a dedicated second-year electrical apprentice with Coker Prime Services & Electrical, LLC. With a strong mechanical background and a natural ability to work with his hands, he brings reliability and precision to every job site.
Currently enrolled in the electrical apprenticeship program at Santa Fe College, Hunter is committed to growing his knowledge of the trade and developing his skills the right way—through hands-on experience and continued education.
Known for his strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn, Hunter is quickly becoming a valuable part of the Coker Prime team and takes pride in contributing to quality workmanship on every project.
Anna Coker
She’s been there since the beginning — not just part of the story, but part of the foundation it was built on. From high school days to where things stand now, she’s seen every version — the early grind, the growth, and everything in between. She didn’t just watch it — she stood in it, supported it, and helped carry it.
For over a decade, she’s built her own path in school administration — leading, managing, and making an impact in ways that don’t always get seen, but are felt every single day. Her ability to lead, organize, and hold things together shows up in everything she does.
At home, she’s the heart of our family of five — balancing the demands of work and life with an outgoing, fun, and genuinely caring spirit. She keeps everything moving, makes people feel seen, and brings a sense of energy and warmth that holds us all together.
